Continuing with the theme of cats, I will introduce Zinni. She is a former barn cat and although we got her before she was 6 months old, she can be quite shy with new people. She was very plump last summer and the vet informed me she was going on a diet — and that meant only 1/3 cup of kibble a day and 1/4 can of canned kitty food (and that’s the small can). This is a hungry cat. She is long-legged, short-haired, an incredible mouser and a fabulous lap cat. She is also a pretty good computer cat. And she lives in terror of Frankie, so when she sees him coming, she hides under something.
Update: Zinni passed away in February 2017. She had a tumor in her nostrils.
